Join us yet again in the snug at the Crown & Kettle for our monthly social. This is simply a casual get-together where all kinds of alcohol-infused skeptical verbal intercourse may be exchanged.

Because our speaker event this month is later in the month, we've moved the social forward.

Our social this month is on the 24th, so for a bit of a change we thought we'd go to the same pub as we did the month before.

Our next social is in the Vault at the Crown and Kettle on Thursday 25th.

Like most years, 2016 is made of months, and so our traditional monthly socials will continue. January's will be in the Snug at the Lass O'Gowrie.

It's a week early and the wrong side of the Irwell but what the heck — it's Winterval!

To fit around the Manchester Science Festival, out October social will take the date that would normally be the speaker event.

We're hoping to have a social on the 24th, because we like the taste of beer, which statistically means we're more likely to sleep with you on the first date.
