We'll be meeting in the Sandbar which is located very near to Oxford Road train station and only a 12-minute walk from Picadilly. It's a brilliant bar with plenty of great beers at a reasonable price.

There will be no speaker at this event, just good company and interesting conversation. Entry is free, and we'll be there from 19:00 onwards.

To celebrate the 201st birthday of Charles Darwin, the Greater Manchester Skeptics will be spending the night in the pub. There may also be cake.

We'll be meeting in the Sandbar at 7:00pm, and drinking till late. Anyone is welcome to come along.

After having a great deal of fun searching for venues with a few new members, we've decided to celebrate this Christmas skeptically with a pub crawl. We'll be meeting up in the Waldorf Hotel from 7PM till 8PM, then we'll set off to a few other pubs around Manchester.

There will be no speaker at this meeting, it's going to be a purely social affair. Ideally we'd like to have some interesting discussion over a few pints, but of course non drinkers are more than welcome!

If you're not liking the idea of a Pub Crawl, don't worry - this is a one off, and our regular meetings should be quite a bit more stationary. Needless to say, anyone who attends will have to be of drinking age.
