We have mixed the dates up massively this month just to keep everyone on their toes! Our Social is now on 9/10/14 from 7.30pm at the Church Inn.

We are also holding our AGM from 6.30pm at the same pub, open to all who are members on our Meetup page. We will be electing officers and tabling a constitution for discussion. If you would like to get more involved in GMSS then this is the ideal meeting for you.

The Church Inn claims the following: good grub, strong coffee, reasonably-priced ale, a proper beer garden and lively, informed conversation. We think claims like that should be properly tested... sometimes repeatedly.

In what might become our new skeptical social home we're returning to the rather lovely Church Inn for January's Social this coming Thursday. The beer is very reasonably priced and for those of you who fancy a bite to eat we may be able to swing a 10% discount on food (*discount not yet confirmed!).
